This Kentucky Straight Bourbon is aged for 4 years and 8 months in new American Oak char 4 barrels, and bottled at cask strength. The whiskey goes into barrel at 55% ABV for a more subtle wood influence and distinctive flavor profile.

Hirsch will release only 19 barrels in the 3rd edition of the Double Oak Single Barrel Series of exquisite whiskeys.

The Bivouac is a "high malted barley" straight bourbon distilled in Bardstown, Kentucky - the world capital of Bourbon. This whiskey is a blend of two bourbons, 95% of the blend is distilled from mash bill of 74% corn, 18% rye, 8% malted barley, aged a minimum of 3 years. The remaining 5% is distilled from a high malted barley mash 72% corn, 13% rye, 15% malted barley, aged for at least 5 years, for added complexity.
