Well-Oiled Whisky Sour

Submitted on: March 25, 2022
I saw (but surprisingly haven’t yet tried) the “well-oiled” mai tai on the Difford’s Guide website and I like the idea. It’s basically just a mai tai with a hint of falernum, so I did that to a whisky sour. One of my friends got me this gorgeous Pike Creek whisky finished in rum barrels for my birthday. I figured that would go perfectly with the falernum, and tied the island flavours together with a dash of lime bitters.
