Outside of Long Beach, I’ve worked in Seal Beach (320 Main – before Jason Schiffer sold it), Torrance (Madre Mezcaleria) and Costa Mesa (Social – where I also learned to be a coffee barista for their Thunderking Coffee pop-up and learned how to do latte art as well). I can confidently say that I am well-rounded in different beverages from coffee to beer to spirits. I’m a HUGE fanboy and advocate for all things Agave and Cane distillates, especially if they’re from Mexican origin. Currently, Mexico is producing some remarkably interesting whiskeys, rums and wines (which is something I’ve been working to learn more of) that you should pay attention to other than tequila and mezcal.
