See website link for the tincture recipe. For the syrup: roast/broil eggplant, peel, add flesh to strainer. Take the liquid that strains out and pass through coffee filter. Add equal amount of turbinado sugar by weight. Whisk to incorporate. For the cocktail: combine ingredients, stir with ice until chilled, strain into glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
