"A lighthearted take on the“French 75”. Originally this cocktail was named after the French army's weapon of choice during World War I: the French 75-millimeter light field gun. This version consists of a cider vermouth called “Alma De Trabanco,” a blend of wine and a heavy dose of cider. Le verger is a blend of Calvados and orchard fruits that’s also used in this cocktail alongside cinnamon syrup, lemon juice and a base of cognac. Champagne to top this off makes this a familiar, refreshing fall cocktail.
