"Vieux Carre | Crafted Pour"

"For my return to posting my cocktails, I decided to go with a cocktail that I only tried for the first time in Providence this weekend (and forgot to photograph). Not sure on the exact liquors used at the bar, but my Rye selection is lacking so I went with Woodford Reserve Bourbon here. I am a big fan of strong, spiritous cocktails, and this one fits the bill extremely well. I really enjoyed the one served up in Rhode Island so decided to do the same, though most recipes call for ice and a rocks glass. This took some playing around to get my setup right to not overexpose the heck out of my pics (first semi-successful photoshoot in RAW format but I’m not super thrilled yet). I look forward to shooting drinks in natural light, but as I don’t get down to drinking till at least 7-8 o clock at night I really needed to get this right and I think I’m on my way. Any nighttime photographing tips would be much appreciated!", "undefined", "Vieux Carre",
