"Everyone You Hate Is Going To Die | Crafted Pour"

"Daniel Sloss is my favorite Scottish comedian. that I’ve seen live. Beat. Yes, he’s the only Scottish comedian I’ve seen live. Beat. He’s also my favorite Scottish comedian author I’ve ever read… You get the point. This cocktail is a riff off of How to Kill a Friend by Paul Shanrock from the Stampede Social Club in Seattle, which is itself a riff on a Jungle Bird. I subbed Gin for Mezcal because that’s my favorite Scottish comedian author’s favorite spirit, though to my knowledge he usually just messes with G&T’s, but, well, were not friends so I wouldn’t really know. I went with Montenegro instead of triple sec to add a floral bit of bitter bite. I was extremely surprised at how DRY this drink came out, kinda like my favorite Scottish… I’m just kidding, Daniel’s very, uhh, well not wet… juicy? Anyway, for a cocktail with so much pineapple juice I was expecting it to be sweeter, but with the Sherry and Montenegro its turned into a dry but refreshing reminder that the lady who bumped into you at the supermarket earlier and said “Ex-cuuuuuu-se me” so condescendingly is definitely going to die, probably soon, and that thought, and this cocktail, will be enough to get you through the day.", "undefined", "Everyone You Hate Is Going To Die",
