"It’s my Party, I’ll be Dry If… (non-alcoholic) | Crafted Pour"

"This was the mocktail served at my fortieth birthday party. I wanted anyone in attendance that was abstaining, for Dry January or otherwise, to feel included. I also wanted to create a non-alcoholic drink that didn’t require a bottle of a non-alcoholic spirit. There are many quality offerings available in that space, but not everyone has easy access to them locally or the budget to try out a bunch of full sized bottles to find their favorites. Everything used here can be purchased at the supermarket, but it tastes a little more elevated than a glass of lemonade or a cola. Plus, a pretty garnish makes everything feel more special.", "undefined", "It’s my Party, I’ll be Dry If… (non-alcoholic)",

Ingredients: - Mango Nectar - Ginger Raspberry Syrup Instructions: First, make your syrup. Simmer equal parts sugar and water until the sugar dissolves. Add 1/2 cup raspberries and a few slices of peeled, fresh ginger, then bring to a boil. As soon as it’s boiling, remove it from the heat. Leave to cool for several hours, tasting frequently until the raspberry and ginger flavor is to your liking. Bottle and keep in the fridge until you’re ready to use. To assemble the mocktail, pour the mango nectar over ice in a stemmed, tall glass like a wine glass or goblet. Pour in your syrup and mix well. Then add the blood orange soda by pouring over the back of a spoon to layer the drink. I’d suggest mixing before drinking, but serve it layered for the effect. Garnish with a slice of blood orange and a couple of raspberries and enjoy! Temperance,Refreshing,non-alcoholic,Dry January, mocktail
