Ahh, the Espresso Martini, beloved by all in this holiday season, but only one problem: you need espresso! If you don’t have an espresso machine, don’t want to try espresso in a French Press, or just want a lovely coffee flavored fluffy cocktail? Enter: The Phony Espresso Martini. Nearly the same flavors as an espresso martini with a touch more texture but still amazingly delicious. Add a high quality coffee liqueur like Mr Black, the sweet but bracing Amaro Averna and just a tiny bit of extra b...
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Tanqueray TEN
- 1/2 oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
- 1/2 oz Amaro Averna
- 1 bar spoon Fernet Branca
- 1 oz French Press Coffee
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup (recipe)
- 1/2 oz Egg White

Glass
Grated nutmeg, salt, and coffee beans
Dry Shake
Coupe
Add all ingredients to a shaker tin with ice and shake hard. Strain back into tin and dry shake. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
