This is far from my usual go-to palate or style when coming up with a new recipe, but I wanted to make something a bit different for the holiday season, and something my partner would really love.
Luckily, she did. Unluckily, I can't get creme de cassis where I live, so it will need to be used sparingly over Christmas!
Ingredients:
- London Dry Gin
- Creme De Cassis
Instructions:
Add absinthe to a chilled coupe. Roll to coat the inside. Discard excess. Add remaining ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Wet shake then dry shake. Fine strain into absinthe-rinsed coupe and float a single star anise in the centre.
