The third installment in my bird glass series, the sapsucker is not a tropical bird but one native to the eastern U.S. and Canada. So I took it to the tropics but kept some ingredients that are native to its region, like apples and maple syrup.
Ingredients:
- Flor De Caña 4 Yr Seco Rum
- Coconut Oil-washed Calvados
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake to chill and strain into a glass over crushed ice. Garnish with the lemon peel.
