"Sour is a style of drink but here it speaks to the fruit juice base and syrup combo: soursop is a South American fruit that looks like a spiked avacado, also called Graviola or a half a dozen other names. The boxed juice I got (full discolsure) is mixed with apples here so we get a pineappley flavor with a crisp tinge. Paired with Del Maguey Vida’s less smokey single village expression, some lime and spice Velvet Falernum, and the floral sour sweetness of hibiscus agave syrup we get a super complex and delicious sour with a burst of beautiful hibiscus color! Ango bitters add a dose of cinnamon and clove bitterness and all together this is a season straddling sipper perfect for the waning dog days of summer with a look toward autumn",
