"Almost Good Enough Gatsby | Crafted Pour"

"Phew, reading through Death and Co’s latest book Welcome Home and trying to find a recipe I have the ingredients for has been a challenge but I’ve managed to find a few. I had to buy a pinepple, sub the Rye, and used a quality spiced pear liqueur instead of pear eau de vie, but hey, this one worked out really well. I enjoyed the book but some of the drinks are a little esoteric even for me! But this drink and some others are easily replicable. I hunted for the Clear Creek, but couldn’t find it locally. Anyway, this is a slightly different cocktail but a damn good one, too, tropical yet bold, with tons of classic pineappley and cinnamony goodness! Sean Quinn created the original in 2019, and though there isn’t a fun quotable, I imagine this was one where he found himself smacking his lips on the first try because this recipe makes so much sense on paper, and with my slight modifications, tasted absolutely wonderful!", "undefined", "Almost Good Enough Gatsby",
