"Death Spear | Crafted Pour"

"After learning of the oddly terrifying agave death spear with the last cocktail I used this tequila infusion in, I knew I’d be making a cocktail about it. I let the tequila sit for another 5 days before straining and now I have a tequila that smells and tastes like, well, asparagus. Coming to the party is the bold El Silencio Mezcal, which holds up to the agave-cousin overload of the tequila, some Ancho Reyes and Fire Tincure for a bit of heat, Root 23’s delightful Yuzu syrup with Bitter Truth’s Celery Bitters and a touch of saline to elevate the vegetal notes. This is an amazing margarita variation that plays with an out of the box infusion but finds a lot of balance around it. I thoroughly enjoyed this and the smokey heat and vegetal notes lean heavily on the extra dose of citrus flavors to balance out nicely. ", "undefined", "Death Spear",
