Gelty as Charged
By Ginny Landt,
I haven't made any Hanukkah cocktails this year (yet, at least) but this is one I made last year. It tastes like those Terry's Chocolate Oranges and I LOVE those. It's a great use for any extra ganache you have lying around (am I the only one with that problem?) but if you make it yourself, you might as well make enough for a few drinks' worth!
Ingredients:
- Demerara Rum
- Triple Sec
Instructions:
Stir room temp ganache in with half and half (so it doesn't immediately seize up when it hits the ice). Shake all ingredients with ice and strain.
To make the ganache, heat equal parts of chocolate and cream and stir until smooth. For using in cocktails, the proportions aren't particularly important.
