So, Cosmopolitan was popularized by Sex and the Cirty series where they drank the vodka, orange liqueur and cranberry juice version apparently (I would lie if I knew that since I really didn’t watch that show.) But there is an original recipe from 1934, and since I really love raspberry in cocktails I had to give this one a try. This is a very simple and balanced raspberry gin drink and perfect as a pre-dinner cocktail. Ingredients: - Raspberry Syrup - Lemon Juice Instructions: I prefer to make my own syrups and I made a simple syrup for this one as well but you can of course get some pre-made ones. I had 1dl sugar, 1dl water and crushed a few raspberries and warm that on the stove till the sugar dissolved. Let the syrup cool down. Strain to get rid of the pulp. Add gin, lemon juice and raspberry syrup in the shaker with ice and shake. Double strain into glass and garnish with a lemon wheel and enjoy! NYE
