"Mockin' Matador | Crafted Pour"

"A friend of mine hyped up a bottle of Carolina reaper pepper vodka, and it only made sense to create a collection of spicy pepper infusions to lead up to what we assumed to be one hell of a spirit! (As it turns out, any pepper infusion is spicier than Charleston Distillery's Carolina Reaper flavored vodka, which is more eau de pepper than spicy mouth burn). As such, we mashed together this cocktail as a means to round out some of the spicier components that we had put together for the whole endeavor! This recipe is actually a modification of another cocktail called the Matador, whose recipe I'll recollect below for reference: Matador -2 red bell pepper rings (muddled) -2 oz (59 ml) Reposado Tequila -1½z (44 ml) Cantaloupe Purée -1 oz (30 ml) Sour Mix oz - ½ oz(15 ml) Habanero Tincture Method: Rim glass with orange juice (from an orange slice), then with Sambuca and Anise Sea Salt.
