"“One shouldn’t be drinking Jack and Coke” was a text message I got after a night out with a couple of friends. The night ended up in a rock club so one adjusts back to the good old days where we used to order too many of these. Those were the drinks where we ended up with that night - but we started out a tad more flamboyant with this little thing I’ve been playing around with. Made a vanilla and mango syrup and started playing around with some spirits and ratios trying to come up with something that would suit hot summer nights. The vanilla, mango and lime combination is such a hit! If you feel you don’t need more than that fine, but adding just a small splash of coconut liqueur does add a sparkle to this thing. I write 10ml of the coconut liqueur in the recipe but it can easily be reduced a bit if your syrup is more towards the vanilla tones and less of the mango since vanilla can be quite powerful. For the syrup I made a standard 1:1 simple syrup with 3dl sugar and 3d water. Add a whole mango and ⅓ of a vanilla stalk in a pan, heat up to dissolve the sugar and soften up the mango - which I also whisk/beat to get some more flavor. Cool down the syrup and use a cheesecloth or something similar to fine strain, unless you really want some seeds from the vanilla as well, into a bottle.", "undefined", "My Hips Don't Lie",

Ingredients: - White Rum - Lime Juice Instructions: Add all ingredients in a shaker, shake to chill and double strain. This should preferably be served in a tiki mug but I don’t own any.
