"Changing gears from, well, 95% of the cocktails I make, I saw a friend on instagram had made this Manhattan riff that you DON’T DILUTE OR CHILL. Scaffa. Huh. Had to try it. I thought I had Barbados Rum but alas I did not, but I knew the Aged Rum from Muckleyeye would hold up nicely against the vermouth and Cynar and it did. This was a wonderful drink, potent like you’d expect, but also silky smooth and delicate. I enjoyed this a ton, but it also pushed me to making another Manhattan riff, a drink I rarely if ever make at home",
