"The Byrrh Cocktail | Crafted Pour"

"Once again, I have The Crafted Pour and Ruddell's Mill to thank through Worldwide Libations. As a member of The Crafted Pour's Tastemaker Program, I received a bottle of straight rye whiskey for my drinks, and boy howdy is this good! Rye is my favorite whiskey expression, with my all-time favorite being Canadian Club 100% Rye. This Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey from Ruddell's Mill gives it a run for its money and could easily become my new favorite. Bottled at a punchy 94.4 proof and aged 3 years in the barrel, this whiskey has some light spice notes that make for a wonderful mixed drink. Thank you for the opportunity to use this bottle! This was my first chance to try Byrrh, which is a Grand Quinquina that is red wine based and slightly drier than the better-known Dubonnet Rouge. The dryness of the Byrrh pairs nicely with the rye whiskey, and even my slightly oxidized generic dry vermouth picked up at the grocery store does well here! This was a great introduction to Byrrh, and I am excited to try it in other recipes! Cheers!", "undefined", "The Byrrh Cocktail",
