"Durian Margarita | Crafted Pour"

"Mezcal is always of the top of my list for spirits to mix with just about anything so I wanted to give a Durian Margarita a shot. Combining the syrup with the spicy, slightly smokey Los Vecinos, orange liqueur and lime juice we definitely get some funky fruit notes though not as intense as I had hoped. What does come through with the help of a dash of soy sauce is a great umami flavor and paired with a pink salt rim we get something at once really familiar but entirely different and honestly delicious. I love a good classic but this recipe turns it entirely on it’s head and blind tasting might give you a case of the “WTF’s”. Trust me when I say once you go for that second sip you wouldn’t care what was in it. Cheers!", "undefined", "Durian Margarita",
