There’s not a lot of Canadian orange liqueurs, if any, and certainly none I can get my hands on, so I used Dillon’s plum schnapps in place of curaçao. As with most of my curaçaoless Mai Tais, I used their orange bitters to reintroduce that missing piece.

Ingredients:
- Continental Maple Rum
- Demerara Maple Rum
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with 1 1/2 cups of crushed ice. Shake until frosty, then open pour into a double old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a spent lime shell and sprigs of maple and mint.
