This drink is appropriately named because it has a bite to it, thanks to the Fernet. It is well balanced and refreshing.
Ingredients:
- Fernet Branca
- Cointreau
Instructions:
Shake in a shaker with ice until cold. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.
To make the cinnamon syrup:
Add one cup of simple syrup (1:1 sugar to water) to a high-speed blender with one cinnamon stick. Blend until completely combined and allow to settle. Strain through a fine sieve into a container. Refrigerate for up to a month.
