This cocktail came about as the culmination of two different circumstances.
First, I found a recipe for coffee liqueur. So instead of going out and buying my own Mr. Black, I decided to make my own.
Secondly, I recently did a video on Fanny Chu's Breakfast Mai Tai. While a great cocktail, it didn't scream BREAKFAST to me.
So I set out to create a Mai Tai that I would drink for breakfast.
Ingredients:
- Plantation Xaymaca
- Plantation OFTD Rum
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients into a shaking tin with crushed ice. Shake for 5-8 seconds. Open pour into double rocks glass. Top with fresh crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig, cinnamon stick, and espresso beans.
