"Agave and Passion | Crafted Pour"

"Dialing in flavors has to be one of the most enjoyable and rewarding parts of cocktail creation for me. This is a riff on Phil Ward’s modern classic the Oaxaca Old Fashioned, with the spirit backbone in place but with a touch of passionfruit syrup bolstering the typical agave and subbing out Angostura bitters for a combo of Scrappy’s delicious celery bitters and El Guapo’s amazing tropical fruit offering. Instead of an orange twist, I switched to the much less common lime for the flamed zest and garnish which takes the template to an entirely different level. The intense burnt lime aroma and flavor turns this a bit further away from the traditional expectations of an Old Fashioned and into something different but utterly delicious. Cheers!", "undefined", "Agave and Passion",
