"#whatifwednesday TLDR: would you date a wrestler? ✈️ Last weekend as I was going through my likes on Hinge, I came across a man who described himself as a “local pro-wrestler” and had video footage of him in the ring to prove it. Elbow pads, boots, sweaty torso; it’s exactly what you’re picturing. ✈️ But just below this video, he replied to the prompt ‘Therapy Recently Taught Me’ with: “Men too often use their SO as their ‘therapist’ in place of actual therapy. Men’s mental health is very important to me!” I’m not sure if the wrestling is a red flag or not, but that statement is like two green flags, so - you do the math. ✈️ We’re going out for drinks next week, and hopefully I’ll have more stories after that. In the meantime, here’s this delicious Paper Plane riff after a common wrestling move: ✈️ “Airplane Spin” 0.75 oz Bourbon - I used @srdistilling which has lovely caramel notes 0.75 oz Aperol 0.75 oz banana-infused Nonino* 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice 3 oz dry sparkling wine Combine the first four ingredients with ice and shake for 30 seconds. This makes a Paper Plane with some extra tiki vibes from the banana (thanks to @heavymuddle for this banana-amaro infusion idea), and you can drink it as is. BUT you can also add some sparkling wine to make it more of an Aperol Spritz summer sipper, which I highly recommend. Enjoy while counting on one hand the number of men who you know who have gone to therapy. ✈️ Is wrestling a red flag? ", "undefined", "Airplane Spin",
