The drink is amazing as is, but I don’t find myself in possession of Calvados or Dubonnet Rouge often. I wanted something that I can make more readily and, while I was at it, adjust the flavors to bring more of that bitter orange flavor with a good herbal base, without losing sweetness or brightness.

Ingredients: - Lairds Applejack - Aperol Instructions: Stir all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with an orange sun.
