"Hello friends! It's the weekend and I am sipping on some Sangria Especiale! Sangria is super easy to throw together, it is bound to be a crowd pleaser, and there is no set recipe! This versatile communal beverage can be made with any wine, and any combination of fruits can be added. This recipe calls for the addition of citrus juices (orange and lemon), as well as the unique addition of cognac and gin, albeit in relatively small amounts. Another unique feature of this version is that the fizz is due to sparkling wine instead of ginger ale or soda. The dry red wine I chose for this pairs very nicely with the other ingredients, and overall makes for a very pleasant cocktail.
I did divide this recipe by 4 so that I could make something more manageable, but it was delicious nonetheless and I would definitely make this again! Cheers!",

- Red Wine
- Sparkling Wine
Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients to a punch bowl.
2. Stir.
3. Add ice.
4. Garnish with slices of oranges and lemons.
