I wasn’t going to let that happen again, so here’s a plum lover’s split base old fashioned riff for Whisky Wednesday!

This drink has been a long time coming.
I made this rye for a friend’s cocktail kit last summer, and made the syrup for myself. But I ended up forgetting about it, and by extension this recipe, until it had gone bad.
I wasn’t going to let that happen again, so here’s a plum lover’s split base old fashioned riff for Whisky Wednesday!

Ingredients:
- Plum Brandy
- Plum-infused Rye Whisky
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until diluted and well chilled. Strain over a single large cube in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
