When making cocktails is your hobby and you find peeps for sale while grocery shopping, you get ideas. This was mine. The goal was something sweet, like candy, and full of bright lemon, floral, and herbal notes—a taste of spring. Please note that this recipe makes two drinks. Ingredients: - Ada Lovelace Gin - Licor 43 Instructions: First, we have to make the syrup. Heat equal parts sugar and water until the sugar dissolves. Add a tablespoon dried lavender, the zest of 1 lemon, and, if you have it, 1 Stash Tea Meyer lemon teabag. Bring it to a low simmer, then take it off the heat. Cover and let sit for 2 hours, then strain and chill.  To make the cocktail, dry shake all ingredients but the bitters (or mix with a handheld milk frother). Then add ice and shake well. Strain into two of your most spring-like coupes. Top each drink with 6-7 drops of bitters, then float a peep in each glass. Toast to warmer days ahead! Easter,Sours,Spring,Herbal,Floral,Fruity,Citrus
