"Barnum's Right Turn | Crafted Pour"

"@thebittertruth was kind enough to send us a bottle of their apricot liqueur. Trying to find some inspiration of what to make...we came across 'Barnum Was Right' featured in @modcocktails. It's a classic drink that dates back to the 40s. The original recipe uses apricot brandy, so we decided to try a little twist and use Apricot Liqueur instead. To make up for the lost liquor we added more gin to rebalance the drink. This Apricot Liqueur is absolutely wonderful. Unlike many liqueurs, it is not too sweet and really keeps the stonefruit flavor of the apricot. It tastes so wonderful we could totally see ourselves sipping this puppy by itself over some ice.
