"Maple Bugs Brew | Crafted Pour"

"I can’t claim credit for the carrot and coffee combo but I can claim credit for the alliteration. My friend made a drink a little while ago combining the two seemingly odd bedfellows using a popular but expensive Carrot Eau de Vie. I decided to juice some baby carrots up and make a carrot turbinado syrup to use in an old fashioned spec instead and this came out wonderful! The Hickory smoke hits you first with its pungent aroma but then you get a great balance of spicy Rye, perfectly brewed Mr Black and sweet and savory baby carrot, with the Cynar and bitters elevating the drink without being too present or distracting. The smoke imparts a decent bit of flavor to the cocktail and makes it all the better for it. It took a few tries to figure out the direction to take with the coffee and carrot but this final iteration, and set of pictures, turned out really well", "undefined", "Maple Bugs Brew",
