"Julia's Brain Child | Crafted Pour"

"I’ve been really engaged by the charming HBO Max series “Julia” and wanted to create a cocktail in honor of the amazingly popular namesake Julia Child. Famously a fan of the Reverse Martini (6:1 Vermouth to Gin) and possibly the Angosoda, I decided to craft something along those lines with the addition of heavy fruit notes as her fruity desserts are particularly well loved around the world. Her vermouth of choice was Noilly Prat, but I went with another French favorite Dolin Blanc as the main base accented with Giffard’s Abricot du Roussillion and a fair pour of Angostura bitters. Lime cordial and blackberries bring in the acidity and sweetness topped off with some sparkling water. Here’s hoping Julia would have enjoyed this more modern cocktail that still lets the botanicals of the Vermouth shine. Bon Appetit!", "undefined", "Julia's Brain Child",
