"Blame It On The Latitude | Crafted Pour"

"When I saw Dustin’s version of this drink on his page (@elusivemoosedrinks) I knew I’d have to make it. The multitude of fruit and spice flavors drew me in instantly and the charred strawberry syrup made me really want to have a go at it. The only thing I was missing was barrel aged gin, the main base, but I recently grabbed a bottle of Linie’s Aquavit, which is matured in Oloroso Sherry casks and sent on a sea voyage to be aged properly, and I knew it would fit here perfectly as a modifier to the Tanqueray. This drink brings in all the complexity while remaining incredibly balanced, the spirits complimenting one another while the heavy strawberry, rhubarb and honey notes dance in contrast. The bitters are really here for balance, dialing back the sweetness just enough while amplifying the spice notes of the aged spirits. Though mine’s a touch different, I think both drinks are absolute winners!", "undefined", "Blame It On The Latitude",
