"Just Friends (non-alcoholic) | Crafted Pour"

"One of my favorite questions to ask people about online dating is to tell me their most memorable story from the apps. Sometimes the stories are funny, sometimes they’re sexy, and sometimes they’re sad - it covers the whole scope of humanity. Today’s #mondaymessage comes from my friend “Roxy,” whose story falls on the sombre side of the spectrum. 🌹 “I had been talking to this guy for a while on either Match or OKC, and he asked to get together for drinks. I showed up to the restaurant to meet him, and he was sitting at the bar inside already, completely wasted. And he was hanging out with these people who I thought were friends of his, but it turned out he had just met them and they didn’t know who he was. He was so drunk that when we went to dinner, it got so uncomfortable that I actually walked out. I’ve never done that before. And then I got a message the next day that he was a relapsing alcoholic, and he wished we could just be friends. Definitely a very short foray into me trying to date again after a dry spell.” 🌹 I feel for both the date and Roxy in this story. Dating can be nerve-wracking, and even people who don’t have a history of addiction can overdo it while trying to take the edge off before sitting down with a stranger. So I made a mocktail for this one; not sure if this particular guy would be into rose, cardamom, and lemon flavors, but it’s one of my all-time favorite combinations. 🌹 ", "undefined", "Just Friends (non-alcoholic)",
