An old fashioned with honey-sage syrup. The subtle aftertaste of the sage pairs so well with the bourbon.
Ingredients:
-

Instructions:
To make the syrup, combine 1 cup water, 1/2 cup honey, and 10-12 fresh sage leaves in a saucepan. Bring to a slow boil, reduce heat, and simmer for about 2 minutes. Let leaves steep until cool, then strain out leaves.
