Pineapple Sage Mule

This is legit my favorite mule cocktail variation. I'm doing a mocktail version of this one, but if that’s not your style, just swap in vodka or gin rather than the non-alcoholic variety I’m using. Ginger beer is often an overpowering flavor, but the other components of this drink stand up well against it. There is a lot of spanking going on in this one, so let out some aggression and get that sage aromatic with a good slap! Cheers!
Ingredients:
- Non-Alcoholic Gin
- Pineapple Juice
Instructions:
Add all ingredients (without the ginger beer) to a shaker tin filled with ice. Double strain over fresh ice into a copper mule tin. Top with ginger beer and garnish with a slapped sage leaf.
Cinnamon syrup*
Add 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, and 3-4 cinnamon sticks to a pot. Heat to dissolve sugar and let simmer for 10 minutes. Strain and store for up to 2 weeks.
