Fat-washing came to mind here, but it's harder to balance with citrus. Could be a great idea for an old fashioned with the King in mind.",

Kind of a silly one, but still delicious. Elvis Presley's favourite sandwich was famously peanut butter, banana, and bacon, so for his birthday this year I decided to make a whisky sour with those flavours in mind.
Fat-washing came to mind here, but it's harder to balance with citrus. Could be a great idea for an old fashioned with the King in mind.
Ingredients:
- Apple Brandy
- Rye Whiskey
Instructions:
In the base of a cocktail shaker, press the peppercorn with a muddler until it cracks. Add remaining ingredients and shake well with ice. Fine strain over a single large ice cube in an old fashioned glass. Garnish with candied bacon (mandatory). Wash bites of bacon down with the drink if desired for full sandwich experience.
