Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a fresh grating of nutmeg Spiced Syrup: - 1 Cinnamon Stick, Broken up - 0.5 Vanilla Bean Split down the middle - 0.5 Star Anise Pod - Pinch of Nutmeg - 1/3 tsp Black Peppercorns - 2 Whole Cloves - 1 tsp Allspice Berries - 1 Cup Sugar - 0.5 Cup Water Bring the water to a boil, remove from heat and add the sugar.
