Red Light Negroni
By Stan Bissell,
I got this recipe from my recent visit to the House of Bols in Amsterdam. It uses genever, a traditional juniper-flavoured liquor from the Netherlands, which predates gin. Instead of Campari, the recipe calls for a red bitter liqueur made by Galliano that I brought home with me. It’s a delicious negroni with Dutch ingredients. The sunflowers are a homage to Van Gough.
Ingredients:
- Bols Genever
- Galliano L’Aperitivo
Instructions:
Stir ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with an orange slice.
