"May Tiki Tuesday BGR Feature #2 Trader Vic’s Port Light is, besides the Saturn, my favourite non-rum-based exotic cocktail, and I love riffing on it. I swapped the bourbon for a rye that I recently infused with plums, then moved on to the syrups. Using BG Reynolds Passion Fruit Syrup was a no brainer, and I paired it with their Falernum to tie in the spicy notes in the rye. I love all of the syrups that they sent me, but what’s awesome about these two is how close they are to the versions that I’ve been making myself. I happened to have some of my batches left when these arrived, so I was able to do a comparison with some classics, and they both came out nearly identical. It’s great to see that kind of quality in commercial syrups. These are probably my two favourite tiki syrups, and I couldn’t be happier with the expressions that BG Reynolds has to offer!", "undefined", "Oil Lamp",
