"So, there's a drink out there called the Mind Eraser and it combines coffee liqueur, vodka, and club soda together. Somebody pointed out that it's very close to a Black Russian, which just takes the vodka and adds coffee to it (or vice versa). I'm taking a wild historical-based estimation when I say that I think the name of the cocktail might've been based on tabloids that surfaced about Russian mind-control tactics.
With that in mind, here's another postulate. If you were Really trying to erase your mind with a cocktail, why wouldn't you go for the stronger stuff?
Anyways, here's a mind eraser-adjacent that adds caffeine and doubles the alcohol content. I kid you not when I say that this tastes like a liquid gingerbread cookie! Maybe it's the everclear, maybe it's the characteristics of the coffee. Or maybe I've just forgotten how to properly interpret my taste buds 😜",
