"Ad/ I’m big on using commercial syrups for ingredients that are hard to find or a pain to work with, but I of course don’t want to sacrifice quality. BG Reynold’s Passionfruit syrup delivers with all real ingredients and sugar and awesome flavor! I decided to mess with the Mojito template here and introduce some passionfruit with a split base of Plantation 3 star and Caravedo Pisco, which gives us a fruity and fun spin on a summertime classic. It was super delicious, the mint and passionfruit working well while the touch of bitters keeps it from being overly sweet and nicely herbacous. The rum/pisco combo is also wonderful, with the 3-Star showcasing its grassy affinity for lime and the pisco adding some golden raisin and citrus notes of its own.
