"What's Your Dill, Man? | Crafted Pour"

"Ad/ For my final sponsered post with this amazing Gin, I decided to bring back one of the most fun ideas I’ve had for cocktails: “Have coupe, will travel” For today’s journey I wanted to introduce my Bristlecone Gin to the South Jersey Pine Barrens so I headed down to my favorite little cedar creek and took some fun pictures of this travel cocktail. This drink is an expiriment in contrast: bristlecone pine meets herby dill meets sweet apricot and orgeat in a sour style cocktail. Hmm, for something with so few ingredients, that’s pretty complex! While all of these together may seem like a strange combination, I have to say it worked splendidly. I’ve worked a lot with the dill aquavit and knew I wanted it pared back a bit to let the pine and apricot flavors shine, anchored by fresh lime juice and sweet and nutty orgeat. This cocktail is like the couple you can’t understand why they’re together but just work. They’re different but harmonious. This drink moves from dill up front to the pine and juniper of the gin with stone fruit and almonds rounding it out at the end and it’s damn tasty. Huge shout out to Dented Brick for this incredible Gin! Follow me on instagram @cocktail.complex", "undefined", "What's Your Dill, Man?",
