"Have Covid, Won't Travel | Crafted Pour"

"Asparagus!? Infused… Tequila… You read that right, folks, and todays cocktail is brought to you by the so far very mild (but still shitty) Covid-19 swirling through my body. What better way to test out if my taste buds are working than an Asparagus Margarita. I only let it sit for about 18 hours so not quite enough to really get the full flavor so I muddled some asparagus as well to really get that vegetal flavor out there. My tastebuds are a little whacky but I wouldnt say I lost them, more like I have a cold than anything, so take all this with a healthy grain of salt. The ginger and fire tinture add some solid heat and celery bitters add another vegetal note, and Asbury Park Distilling’s Aquavit pairs really well with all of it. As far as I can tell this is a nice, spicy cocktail despite the weirdness (but im not the first to do it!) It’s odd being sick with Covid after all this time having worked in healthcare through it all, and it was a small gathering that got me. Oh well, here’s to 10 days of making cocktails, working out, and missing my friends and family", "undefined", "Have Covid, Won't Travel",
