"Hello friends! Today I embark on a new adventure: New Drinks for the Nineties, a list of new drinks published in Robyn Feller's 1990 bartending guide "The Complete Bartender." Over the next several months, I will be mixing my interpretations of the cocktails listed in her book, starting with the Absolut Santo.
The Absolut Santo is a simple vodka cocktail with a dash of Chambord added. It calls for plain Absolut vodka, which I didn't have. Instead, I had Absolut Vanilia, which I thought would work really nicely here for kind of a raspberries and cream moment. The raspberry flavor of the Chambord is very subtle here and I get much more vanilla flavor than anything. In the future I think I would remake this using up to a half an ounce of the Chambord for more of an impact. Overall, this was a pretty decent drink, that I probably will mix again with some slight modification. Cheers!",

Ingredients:
- Absolut Vanilia
- Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur
Instructions:
1. Fill mixing glass with ice
2. Add Absolut Vodka and Chambord
3. Shake
4. Strain into a chilled martini glass
