A little sugar (watermelon syrup & apricot liqueur), spice (Ancho Reyes), and everything nice (mezcal and tequila) in this one.
We’ve got to make the most of watermelon 🍉 while we’re in the season—I’ve been enjoying this syrup in lots of cocktails lately.
Ingredients:
- Mezcal
- Tequila Anejo
Instructions:
Shake everything with ice and strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a watermelon slice.
*Watermelon syrup: Muddle 1 cup of chopped watermelon with ¾ cup of sugar. Store in the fridge overnight. Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
