"The Dark Knight | Crafted Pour"

"Batman has always been my favorite 🦇 🦇 🦇 I can’t even tell you why. Maybe it’s the ninja-meets-Sherlock style. Maybe it’s that he makes himself super- no mutations, power-giving accidents, or genetic powers. Maybe it’s the badass costume. Whatever it is, he has ALWAYS been my favorite. My students ask me why... why is your classroom covered in Batman? Why do you like him so much? I feel lame saying, “I just do,” but that is it. As long as l’ve been making drinks, I’ve wanted to make a Batman-themed cocktail. For Christmas, I received this badass Batman tiki glass, and I couldn’t put it off any longer. I’ve spent a while coming up with it. Something classy that is also dark, brooding, has demons. I wanted it black, with Japanese touches, but still something a billionaire might sip. This beauty is similar to a Boulevardier or Negroni in profile- It’s bitter, strong. ", "undefined", "The Dark Knight",

Crack a large 🧊 in half and stir it in until the glass is frosty. Add your coloring one drop/capsule/pinch at a time, stirring until you get the desired blackness. Strain into your glass over a small handful of pebbled or other small ice. Garnish with a flamed lemon peel- Bat Signal not necessary, but appreciated *I like using an unfiltered sake for the texture and smoothness. It should also be a balanced sake- nothing too sweet or too dry. *Getting the same “small bar spoon” of Jaeger is hard. I like using an atomizer and spraying 10 spritzes in.
