"A Scottish Mai Tai. I bought this bottle of Laphroaig a while ago to make some cocktails in Death & Co. It was not what I was expecting lol. I hated it in every cocktail that I used it in and it wasn't much better on its own so it has been collecting dust ever since. I decided to revisit it this weekend and wow, what a difference. Still not my favourite whiskey but I can actually enjoy it now
I wanted to make a cocktail with it as I'm trying to slim up my bar. I've had good luck with the orange and ginger combo before and knew it would work perfectly with the medicinal notes of the Laphroaig
Fìor Mhath means very good in Scottish Gaelic which is what Mai Tai means in Tahitian
