This is my final May Tiki Tuesday BG Reynolds feature. This week, we’re trying out a smoky twist on a Barbadian classic.
The tropical spice in BG Reynolds Falernum Syrup packs a major punch of flavour, and more than holds up to the strong smoky profile of the mezcal.
If you’re feeling a bit adventurous next time you’re in the mood for an old fashioned, give one of these a stir.
Ingredients:
- BG Reynolds Falernum Tropical Cocktail Syrup
- Aged Barbados Rum
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until diluted and well chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Top with freshly grated nutmeg.
